In-kind compute for genomics and modeling work: AWS Cloud Credit for Research (up to $5,000 for students, no stated cap for faculty and staff; Free Tier accounts became ineligible Feb 2026), Google Cloud Research Credits (up to $5,000 for faculty and postdocs, $1,000/yr for PhD students), Microsoft Azure credits (now mostly routed through the NAIRR Pilot's $20M pool), and the NVIDIA Academic Grant Program (up to 30,000 H100 GPU-hours or hardware; calls are periodic and were closed to new applications at last check).
Relevant to molecular-dynamics simulation of cardiolipin and TAZ, or machine learning across multi-omics datasets.
Faculty, research staff, and graduate students at accredited institutions; NVIDIA requires full-time faculty at a PhD-granting institution.
Each program takes rolling applications through its own page — AWS reviews in ~30–60 days, Google in 6–8 weeks.
